The 1795 population census is based on the printed version of the census in 1796. It includes among other things:
  • municipal reports sorted by province,
  • an alphabetical list of municipalities, and
  • a register with locations of the electorate meetings for the representatives of the National Meeting.
The lists are checked in Excel. The numbers of inhabitants in the different lists were compared, the totals were recalculated, and again compared. Besides the data of the provinces North- and South-Holland were compared with the publication 'Het Volk van Holland'.
